BIRTH PREP AND POSTPARTUM PREP

This isn’t your average birth prep. We start with an initial assessment to go over your specific needs and concerns. You will feel educated, confident and empowered as you journey towards motherhood. From movement strategies in pregnancy to tips on pushing and reducing tearing, I’ve got you covered.

A baby can only exit your body one of two ways- vaginally or via cesarean birth. We prep for either type of birth and help you feel educated and empowered with either outcome.

Postpartum prep is the session you didn’t know you needed. We complete this session before you even give birth - for good reason. Pregnancy is 9 months but postpartum is the rest of your life, and I’m here to help make that transition as smooth as possible as you recover from birth, build your strength and work towards your goals.

We start with specific strategies you can implement immediately after birth all the way to 4 weeks postpartum to optimize your recovery, whether you had a vaginal or cesarean birth.

CLINICAL PILATES

Whether you’re getting into running, returning to it after birth or surgery, looking at recovering your core or just want to be able to trust your body as you get stronger- clinical pilates is a great place to start.

Depending on your goals and abilities, integrating pilates into pelvic physiotherapy sessions creates a great foundation and helps you fully connect to your pelvic floor with exercise.

An initial assessment must precede any clinical pilates sessions to ensure safety and individually tailor the session to your needs. Sessions are always one on one with your physiotherapist.
